What does Mendvale do?

Find real accessibility problems, fix alt text at the source after you approve each change, and keep a dated record of the work.

  • Find missing alt text that DOM scanners on Shopify structurally cannot see
  • Alt text written into your product data, after you approve every description
  • No overlay, no widget, no JavaScript rewriting your store at runtime
  • An accessibility statement, kept as a dated record of the work you have done
  • Weekly re-scans that tell you when your store changes and statements go stale
